The Kansas Alliance for Direct Support Professionals
The Kansas Chapter of the National Alliance for Direct
Support Professionals
OUR Goals:
- Enhance the status of the Direct Support Professional
- Provide better access for all Direct Support Professionals to high quality
education experiences
- Strengthen the relationships and partnerships between Direct Support Professionals,
self-advocates, and other groups and families
systems reform (policy, legislation, and funding practices) that
improve access to education and career paths, as well as improve
compensation
- Support
the development and implementation of a national voluntary credentialing
process for Direct Support Professionals
